We hope that all 240 people who have played to date and camp followers, flag wavers, T-shirt and headgear suppliers (especially the Thomas family!) and so forth will find something to interest them. This site contains the fullest statistics we can muster. The data have been compiled by Nerys Osbourn and Peter Williams. They are derived from the dusty tomes held by The Great Leader and, more recently, from Nerys' computerised scoring. Neither of these sources is 100% reliable although the computer always adds up correctly. You may, therefore, find some errors, possibly because there is duplication of names or confusion of R Jones and R Jones, for example. If you see anything wrong or have any queries, please send us an e-mail via "e-mail COBS".

With year 28 just completed, COBS has acquired a momentum of its own. Those of you who play will know that we offer a good standard of cricket and have run 10 successful booze cruises to France over succeeding August Bank Holidays. We have been invited back to Standard AC (in Meudon on the outskirts of Paris) in 2005. Standard have excellent facilities including a very classy clubhouse with bar + squash and tennis courts and outside swimming pool. See their website here if you don't believe us.

We are dependent on your support and commitment. Please let us know if you're interested. Based on previous expeditions the travel (minibus) and accommodation cost is likely to be about £100 - £110 per head exclusive of beer and burgers.
